KKW Contour Kits Dupe/ Afforable Alternatives

With the new release of Kim Kardashian West's (currently sold out) makeup line featuring products which she is arguably known for popularizing, I thought I'd make a list of more affordable and readily available products you could try out while waiting for a restock! Products featured on this list are not exactly the same as KKW's Contour Kits but similar in style: highlight/ concealer and contour in stick form. The prices vary, so I've decided to put them in descending order by highest to lowest to make it easier for you :). Remember that you seen it here first; leave a comment or share with a friend, it would be much appreciated KKW Contour Kits $48.00 Four shades: Light, Medium, Dark, Deep Dark Kim Kardashian West describes her product on her official website: " CRÈME CONTOUR AND HIGHLIGHT KITS COME IN FOUR SHADES: LIGHT, MEDIUM, DARK AND DEEP DARK. Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor Review

Image
In lieu of the trend of matte liquid lipsticks, Revlon decided to release their new "Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor" line, which is available in 15 shades. I bought mine at Walgreens where they retail for $8.99 (0.006 oz/1.7 g). If you plan to get several or at least two shades, I recommend waiting until they go on sale for buy one, get one 50% off, which Revlon often does. Unlike most lipstick tubes, the Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor comes in a skinny metallic tube, each in a color responding to the shade of the product. Something to note is that when you initially wind up the product or wind it all the way down, there is and audible "click" or "pop." So far, I've gotten 5 shades. (listed left to right): 700 HD Sand, 710 HD Desert, 760 HD Vineyard, 725 HD Sunset, and 715 HD Arabica  The Review: You can find all of the shades as well as the description of the product on Revlon's official website which I'll link  here . Basically, however, Revlon b

Drugstore Highlighters #3: Physcians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom All-in-1 Nude Palette for Face & Eyes

Don't forget to check out my instagram (which you can find  here ) for live video swatches of products mentioned :) Don't forget to leave a like and/or follow if you want updates on new products! I bought this at my local CVS for $13.99. I like buying from CVS, especially Physcians Formula products because 1) they have a beauty rewards club where if you spend $50 (its cumulative, they add up the total of all your makeup-related purchases) you get $5 "extrabucks" which are credits that you can use in store and 2) they often have great deals with the reward system where, for example, you spend $15 on Physcians Formula you can get $8 extrabucks back. Anyways, I bought this based on a recommendation on Thataylaa on Youtube.  It's a small rose gold compact with black lace pattern.  The front of the compact displays the product through a plastic screen; the back opens up to reveal a small mirror and holds a brush (which comes with all Physcians Formula powder produc

I got these pretty things at my local Walgreens for $4.99 each (0.19 oz/ 5.4g). They come in a plastic square black compact with a clear top/ lid. The powder itself has been imprinted with a flower design (What kind of flower, I have no clue. Comment if you know what it is!)  The product description can be found on Wet n Wild's website, which I'll link  here . There are only two shades as of right now: 321B Precious Petals and 322B Crown of My  Canopy. The first shade, Precious Petals, is a very beautiful soft, light peach color.  The second shade, Crown of My Canopy, is deep peach, almost between a rose gold and a copper color. The Review: The highlighter itself is pigmented when picked up using your fingers, but it is a little les

About this Blog

Welcome! Thank you so much for checking out my blog :) I'm just like any other girl who really likes makeup, but just can't quite afford everything she wants. So instead of buying all of the high end or name brand makeup I/we see on Instagram on YouTube I mostly buy more affordable drugstore products. From highlighters eyebrow pencils, even makeup brushes, I plan to write about them all. The point of this blog is to show you the items I've purchased and used and to ultimately help you by providing you with (hopefully) helpful information. If you have any questions, suggestions/ requests/ recommendations, disagreements or would just like to say "Hi!" then feel free to leave me a comment. Anyways, enjoy and have a great day :D!
